      please ingest the VT ontology for joining to views:

      http://purl.bioontology.org/ontology/VT

      you can do this similar to how the GO or HPO is ingested.

      please include the id, label, and definition (at minimum), and any xrefs that might exist.

      it looks like you'll need to create a bioportal account to get an API key, in order to download the entire file.
