Description
I noticed that the HPO version is out of date in Ontobee. The purl http://purl.obolibrary.org/obo/hp.owl redirects to here:
http://phenotype-ontologies.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/src/ontology/hp.owl
which currently has a date of 30:03:2014
The version in Ontobee has an annotation property of 17:10:2013, and is missing some terms that were added later (for example, test
HP_0012546, Skewed maternal X inactivation).
Terms may also be missing in Exomiser, so maybe also running off an old version?
None of these seems to be pointing at the release versions, for example this latest one, which has an earlier date than the one on google code (its a day before the release folder label- 28:01:2014):
http://compbio.charite.de/svn/hpo/releases/2014-02-01/hp.owl
I think Ontobee should point at the release folder for sure, Exomiser we may wish to have an option to choose a release.
Bioportal http://bioportal.bioontology.org/ontologies/HP has a "release date" of 05/09/2014, says "Parsed, ERROR_INDEXED", and links to a downloadable obo file with the date stamp of 09:05:2014.
I have no idea what version PhenoTips is now using.
I am also not finding a purl for the releases set up (e.g. http://purl.obolibrary.org/obo/hp.owl/releases) or any partial purls (e.g. http://purl.obolibrary.org/obo/hpo/), which could be used to point to the latest release.
I think we need some synchrony here? Will admit I'm no expert at fighting the purl server.
We need to make sure this all right before William finalizes his analysis and before our release, and also check to make sure that PhenoTips is pulling the released versions.
